Credit and Billing Manager
Kelly Services has been engaged to recruit a Credit and Billing Manager for a highly recognisable and reputable Group Business based in Surrey.
The key responsibilities of the Credit & Billing Manager include:
The purpose of this role will be to manage the service delivery of the Credit and Payment Service function, overseeing a small team of 3 direct reports and a key 3rd party outsourced partner, you will ensure collections and billing targets are adhered to and remain under control and budget.
Accountable for ensuring the delivery of customer service, the role holder will manage the resolution of complex customer issues and complaints escalated by the outsourcing partner. It will be expected that the successful role holder can take the lead on any service transition or transformation projects, promoting continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally to this, you will be responsible for;·Ensuring robust systems and procedures are in place, identifying any significant risk to the company and working closely with the outsourcing partners to devise and implement policy improvements to improve service quality and deliverables·Monitor KPI’s, continually assessing targets and goals are achieved and customer receives a high quality experience·Provide continual root cause analysis of the portfolio’s performance to understand non-payments and provide solutions support to front line Sales to improve results in both retention and account performance·Work with outsourced partners to strategy meets regulatory legislation and compliance·Manage and coordinate the administrative process in dealing with refunds and write-offs accurately and efficiently with a view to minimising loss·Training, development, supporting, mentoring and appraising direct reports·Ad hoc duties and deputise for the Head of Service as required
The required skills for the Credit and Billing Manager are;·A strong track record in of managing a Credit/Payment Services function and/or a Billing function, particularly where provided by a 3rd party (Ideally a Minimum of 5 years)·It is essential to have previous experience in management of service delivery function with the ability to manage geographically remote relationships·You ideally will have experience in Utilities/ Energy with an understanding of regulation/governance requirements·The successful role holder will have had prior exposure to managing departmental/structural change, projects and transformation initiatives
