Our Client is a growing and innovative firm of Licensed Conveyancers based in West Sussex.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Legal Assistant to work within a residential conveyancing department. Working within a busy Residential Property Team, your responsibilities will include reviewing titles and preparing reports in respect of the findings, preparing title reports, preparing transfers and SDLT returns where required by the client, and any other reasonable duties delegated by a member of the team.
Applications are sought from Legal Assistants with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will have sound technical/theoretical land law knowledge, experience of using a case-management system, preferred but not essential, and of working in a legal or other business environment. Ideally candidates will have completed the Legal Practice Course.
