Paralegal - Conveyancing Department
Seeking an experienced Paralegal for one of the largest and most prestigious law firms across Dorset and Somerset.
This is a full time position based in the Dorchester office working Monday to Friday offering a highly competitive salary that will be discussed upon application.
This role would suit candidates who have previous experience of land law that has been gained at support level. Applicants should have an in depth procedural knowledge of end to end conveyancing work from enquiry to post completion, in order to give a high level of assistance to the Land Partners and other lawyers. Ideally, candidates will possess working knowledge of both residential and commercial land law.
The role is varied and fast moving and will involve proactively assisting in moving cases forward. The main duties are set out in the job description.
A high level of confidentiality and diplomacy is required. You will be conscientious and reliable with a professional appearance and demeanour. You will have an eye for detail with a keen interest in learning and helping colleagues to achieve organisational goals.
Candidates are required to demonstrate; a positive approach, flexibility, the ability to adapt quickly to change in a fast paced environment, be self-motivated, come across professionally both verbally and in appearance, have a resilient disposition and the ability to prioritise and multi task when faced with the challenges and requirements of this busy role.
