Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Marketing Executive role on a permanent contract to join our team in Chiswick, West London. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Marketing Manager, Northern Europe – UK & Ireland, and will be part of a team responsible for driving the marketing agenda and calendar of activities for International SOS in Northern Europe; focusing mainly on the UK and Ireland - including lead generation, account based marketing, sales support, thought leadership and brand guardianship.

Key Responsibilities:

Client and Prospect Communications / Content Management: Develop tailored email campaigns and targeted communications to prospects, customers and associations, depending on their profiles and industry. Support on bid writing as and when appropriate. Draft and coordinate regional content for e-newsletters. Ensure Group Marketing receives the relevant information to update the company website ( with regional information including PR, events and webinars.Event Management: Monitor the UK & Ireland calendar of events, including hosted events, speaking opportunities, webinars and internal events. Project manage our presence at key industry events and tradeshows including stand design and management, team briefing and communications strategy. Ensure events generate tangible outcomes to pass back to sales and other parts of the marketing department for lead generation.Marketing Collateral: Create professional tools in support of local teams and their efforts to create a positive impact on customers, members and opinion formers. Work with Group Marketing and Europe Marketing teams to enrich an ongoing library of case studies to show-case International SOS expertise. Ensure adequate supplies and tracking of marketing brochures, stationery, branded items and publications for the sales teams.Internal Communication and reporting: Prepare weekly marketing updates and monitor the calendar of Marketing activities. Deliver high-quality ad-hoc reports and presentations, often at short notice, to tight deadlines. Support teams (client services, medical, sales, HR) as required.Be the International SOS Marketing Brand Champion: Be the point of contact for branding, logo and trademark issues, for International SOS and other sister brands in use within the region.Internal Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Group and Regional Sales and Marketing teams to enhance cross-team communication and collaboration.Marketing Trends: Stay abreast of the latest Marketing trends, including social media, and share with the team.


A strong working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing-automated tools such as Eloqua will be essential to succeed in the role, but training can be provided.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Specifically, the ability to interpret stakeholder briefs from multiple sources and to create effective marketing messages, collateral, reports, and case studies.Advanced PC skills required including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Skills with design softwares (Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator) and video creation are a plus.Ability to navigate social media – including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.Ability to manage Third Party relationships with sub-contractors, agencies or other collaborators, to ensure high-quality, accurate, timely delivery, to a pre-agreed budget.Interpersonally, the person will be a passionate team player.Ability to leverage all available resources in the organisation to meet and exceed the marketing and business objectives.Able to manage multiple stakeholders, and to agree realistic expectations and deadlines with clients and stakeholders and delivery to them.Influencing skills (impact and influence), networking ability and confidence with senior decision makers. The successful candidate should understand the importance of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines.Collaborative nature. Strong planning and organisation skills with the experience to develop solutions by adopting a consultative approach with the content expert.Educated to Bachelor degree level or equivalent, Business, Marketing or Communications subjects are advantageous but not a pre-requisite.Additional European languages is desirable but not essential.Based from our London (Chiswick Park) office, with possible travel to other International SOS locations
