Develop a deep understanding of customer and University processes,strategies, priorities and constraints. Identify opportunities forprocess and performance improvement Drive and challenge customers assumptions as to the way they willsuccessfully introduce new business processes and solutions andcontribute to robust process change, solution selection and implementation. Apply previous experience of technical IT development andimplementation to ensure that customers receive informed adviceregarding the effective use of IT to achieve their goals. Provide technical and project management support for service delivery Initiate and contribute to the ongoing development of technicaldocuments for systems requirements, support models Perform necessary reviews and analysis and produce process documentsincluding: process maps and analyses, metrics design and performance management. Work independently with a diverse group of staff from both business andtechnical areas and external suppliers, creating opportunities to listento customer needs Represent IT Services on formal University committees and workinggroups (faculty and department IT committees) and service reviews. Work with project sponsors to develop accurate, meaningful andmeasurable business cases. Draw on previous analysis experience and use a variety of businessanalysis methods (e.g. interviews, document analysis, requirementsworkshops, business process analysis, use cases, task, workflow analysisand facilitation) to elicit requirements and document business processes. Determine the root causes of issues and identify the underlying truerequirements and distinguish these from user requests. Present the business case, requirements and solution options at thelevels appropriate to different audiences Deliver the relevant documentation as required, including functionalspecification; business requirements specification; detailedrequirements specification; use cases and process documentation. Identify and appraise solution options, carrying out options-andgap-analysis, to inform recommendations for implementation.
