Learning Support Assistant
Do you have a passion for supporting others and want to make a difference to young people`s educational experiences? This role offers an opportunity to support young people undertaking a variety of college courses.
You will need to be nurturing and encourage the students to engage in lessons and social aspects of college life. Students are assessed as needing additional support for a variety of reasons, this may include a variety of learning disabilities, challenging behaviour or difficulties with socialising and engagement. This support will require you to participate in both theoretical and practical lessons and may involve being outside or with animals in a more vocational course. This will predominately be 1-2-1 support and requires a support worker with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm.
This role is paid at £8 p/h. Shifts are 0830-1630 and are offered on a part time basis according to your availability.
To be considered for this role you will need to have 12 months experience and an enhanced DBS.
