The role in question is an FX Accountant and will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This role will entail raising hedges as and when required for all clients for both One Bill clients and Media invoices. As part of your role you will also Produce Net Open Position analysis for each Brand and expand analysis down to client invoice and payable level of all transactions that expose the organisation to foreign exchange risk. You will understand and be able to explain how the systems interact with each other so for example how the Media System (Media Ocean / DDS) integrates with General Ledger (Altair / SAP) how the Treasury Management System (TMS) integrates with Altair and how this affects foreign exchange within the P&L and balance sheet accounts. You will also understand how the different types of transaction and timings within Altair can generate foreign exchange postings.
Salary, benefits and requirement: £35k- £40k + Further Benefits. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within a treasury related role. Prior media/agency experience is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.
