We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a global business based in Llandudno. To provide management accounts for the companies of the group.

As Management Accountant your main duties and responsibilities will include:

· Preparation of monthly management accounts of subsidiary companies

· Variance analysis and commentary of management accounts

· Oversee sales ledger and purchase ledger accounts, and bank reconciliation, ensure up to date and fully complete

· Agree supplier payments required

· Preparation and submission of BACS/cheque payments, as required

· Preparation of Monthly and quarterly VAT Returns

· Preparation and submission of sales & use tax returns

· Preparation of statutory accounts, liaising with local accountants in each country, answering queries, providing full information for accounts to submit

· Management of completion of monthly/weekly sales invoices

· Management of junior accounts staff – provide support and guidance with all areas of role

· Responsible for all junior accounts work and organising/overseeing – ability to cover if needed

· Internal control for junior accounts staff

· Improve finance systems in place for companies

· Manage fixed asset schedules

· Tax payments

· Intercompany accounts - reconcile and complete recharge invoices

· Auditor queries – both PWC and all foreign auditors

· Liaison with operations team in respect of period accounting and results

As an experienced Management Accountant you must possess the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths grade level C or above
  • Previous experience completing Management Accounts
  • Experience of using Management Information System
  • Previous experience of working in a financial position
  • Tenacious with good time management
  • Knowledge of Foreign Financial Regulations
  • Currency Conversions
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office
  • Management Skills
  • Strong Numeracy Skills
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels within the company
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem Solver
  • Analytical approach

Desirable:

  • HNC/Degree in a related subject (i.e. finance or business)
  • Experience of being part of a Management Team
  • Experience of a management role
  • Experience of using Pegasus
  • Experience of working for a multinational company in a finance/accounting capacity
