Robert Half are currently partnering exclusively with one of Bristol's most prestigious and recognized organizations. This Financial Accountant position has become available due to a restructure within the business, therefore presenting an excellent opportunity for an interim Financial Accountant to on-board an extremely interesting assignment. The successful Financial Accountant will be given the opportunity to participate in the preparation of monthly financial accounts, with appropriate variance analysis against budget and revised forecasts. This Financial Accountant role will require someone to start at short notice and commit to a minimum of 5 months


  • Perform monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Preparing monthly cash flow reporting and developing cash flow forecasting model
  • Integrate, manage and improve the Accounts Payable function for the Company
  • Manage Client Accounts including journals, reconciliations and auditing
  • Maintain Horizon's credit card scheme
  • Ensure the correct accounting treatment of all company derivatives including required journals and reporting
  • Develop and maintain appropriate financial systems for the Company to enable the achievement of the Company objectives
  • Participate in preparation and submission required financial returns to shareholder(s) to comply with requirements
  • Produce and submit required financial compliance returns (e.g. Corporation Tax, VAT, CIS and other taxation) to ensure the Company is not in breach of regulations
  • Participate in the production of the statutory accounts for the legal entities of the Company, complying with accounting standards
  • Provide support to audits including the production of requested schedules/information
  • Provide technical accounting analysis as required


  • Qualified accountant (QBE also considered) from a recognised accounting body with experience of technical accounting and reporting issues
  • Excellent accounting knowledge, in particular IFRS
  • Experience in the operation of SAP financial systems and financial processes
