An exciting opportunity has arisen within the newly established Income Management team. This team oversees all income collection for our tenants whilst providing a holistic service to help them with any issues they have with their income and benefits.

The successful candidate will assist the Rent & Income Manager to maximise rental and housing benefit income and minimise rent debt to the company by providing an effective debt prevention and recovery service. In addition, they will also contribute to delivering the Rent First programme which is part of the Customer Services strategy.

To be successful in the role you will need excellent communication skills including the ability to make decisions, resolve problems and negotiate with and on behalf of our customers and the company. You will be experienced in benefit or debt recovery casework including representation at court or tribunal service. It would be beneficial if you had experience of managing staff successfully.
