We are looking for a CRM & Email Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Digital team. Reporting into the CRM Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day email marketing activities, driving email best practice to uplift conversions, customer retention and lifetime spend. You will also support on other key email and CRM projects. Having solid understanding of email marketing, experience with an ESP system, and experience with data / analytics are key elements of this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day ownership of the email marketing and segmentation plan, including end-to-end co-ordination (planning, briefing, testing, sending, reporting)
  • Optimise email Marketing campaigns in line with the promotional calendar; using trading/product knowledge to ensure emails are commercially driven, relevant and targeted
  • On-going segmentation of email database to identify and target customer segments with specific campaigns
  • Work with closely with the CRM Manager to implement targeted email communications across the customer lifecycle
  • Implement testing plans for content, subject lines and offers to improve the results and relevancy of campaigns
  • Undertake email performance reporting and gather insight to continuously improve engagement and assist with effective CRM strategy
  • Feeding email reporting insight into the wider Digital team
  • Work closely with the CRM Manager developing initiatives to help improve and drive data capture across all customer touch points including the website, stores, competitions and in store events
  • Day-to-day coordination of the Karen Millen Black, an invite-only programme offering tailored benefits to our best customers, e.g. co-ordination of incentives & benefits plus segmented communications through email, DM and SMS
  • Support on other key email and CRM projects
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team to deliver best-in-class service

Required skills & experience

  • Proven experience owning email marketing and segmentation plans, including the end-to-end co-ordination (planning, briefing, testing, sending, reporting), within a fashion or retail brand
  • Experience using at least one ESP system for at least 12 months
  • Excellent understanding of email marketing best practice
  • Pro-active and analytical individual with excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate understanding of Excel, e.g. pivot tables, creating charts, VLOOKUPS
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams at the same time and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • You will have a passion for digital & marketing within the fashion industry, as well as being driven by results
