Oakhill Recruitment are currently recruiting for a newly created Company Accountant for a profitable privately-owned business based on the outskirts of Bury St. Edmunds as they continue to grow.The role will report to the Directors and look after all aspects of finance and accounts for the business. This is a varied hands on finance role and will suit an accountant looking for an all-encompassing finance role. The responsibilities of the role will include; all aspects of month end, financial reporting, preparing the year end accounts for the external auditors, foreign exchange, financial hedging, company taxation, developing cash forecasts and budgeting.
The ideal candidate will be an accountant with experience in a similar role previously, knowledge of Sage is essential. You will be working within a small team and strong communication skills are vital.
