As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for the day to day processing of invoices, payments and assisting with ad hoc duties within the finance office

My client is a highly successful business based in Leicestershire who have an immediate requirement to strengthen their team by bringing in a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis.

Description

Prepare & post purchase ledger invoices and correctly code to the nominal ledger


Arrange payment runs of invoices & prepare payments spreadsheet to suppliers and enter onto the system


Liaise with suppliers regarding all payment matters


Reconcile supplier statements and follow up reconciling items to clear


Issue weekly & monthly self-bill invoices to suppliers


Process ad hoc payment request

Profile

The successful candidate should have experience within a finance office and be willing to learn new skills as well as assist with ad hoc duties
