Credit Control Administrator
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join this company in East Manchester. This is an Urgent requirement and the company is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Your role will involve
Opening new accounts including carrying out the relevant credit checks and agreeing an
appropriate credit limit
Production of monthly Stop list and communicating same to Sales Staff
Liaising with Sales to resolve Customer Disputes promptly
Updating Customer Receipts and depositing cheques at the bank
Updating Sales Invoices daily, checking coding and VAT calculated correctly, issuing to
Raising Credit Notes where required including maintenance of non-conformance log
Monitoring Projects, ensuring staged invoices and payments are issued/received on time
Chasing of overdue accounts via email/telephone
Proposing the appropriate action for overdue accounts, i.e. debt collection / county court
As credit control won't take up the full week, you will also be asked to help out on the Hire Desk with administration and customer service.
So this is an interesting and varied role which will need excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. Previous experience in Credit Control is essential
