Q – Could you encourage the teaching and learning of a male Year 6 student with EBD??Clarus Education are working with a Primary School in Ealing who have a vacancy for a confident and caring Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 6 Male student. ROLE: •Supporting a Yr6 pupil with a statement of Special Educational Needs for 5 days a week. •Working with the Classroom Teacher, Head Teacher, student and parents to encourage teaching and learning in the Classroom, and around the school•Building strong, respectful relationships with all concerned•Restraint Training is required for this role•This role requires an experienced, passionate practitioner who specializes in ASD and ADHD, and can use their special educational needs skills to make a real difference.PERSON:•Demonstrate good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills•Have significant experience of supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour preferably in a PRU setting•Have restraint training•Be able to work as a team, yet use your own initiative•Be prepared to work across the school and to work with challenging children as required•Communicate clearly with children and parents/carers
