Credit Control Manager, St Helens working with a successful and established business.

You'll be joining an established business with a medium-sized, friendly and supportive finance team based in St Helens with plenty of onsite parking

About the job
You will be joining a busy / professional finance team. They are a very friendly and supportive team so will help you make your new job a great success.
Main duties will include:
* Hands on cash collection by telephone and email
* Setting up and credit checking new customers
* Setting and managing credit limits
* Relationship building
* Resolving queries
* Reconciling ledgers
* Monthly reporting to the board
* Month end ledger balancing
* Managing and motivating a team of 3
* KPIs
* 121's and appraisals, training

About the ideal candidate
You will lead by example setting high standards for work and motivation. You will be an established credit manager or possibly a supervisor looking to step up. You will be an expert in credit control (ICM an advantage) and covered all areas from setting up new accounts right through to 1st stage legals.

Solid credit control experience
Management / supervisory experience
Good Excel skills
Flexible and adaptable
Team Player

Salary Range & Benefits
The salary is negotiable around £35,000 to £40,000 and comes with a range of benefits.
