Our highly reputable client, based in Dereham, is currently seeking a Credit Controller to join the accounts department.
As the Credit Controller you will be a part of the credit control team, within the finance function, actively dealing with all sales ledger transactions, customer debt collection and queries on a timely basis, and supporting the finance team and wider business as appropriate.
Primarily responsible for the control and management of the accounts receivable ledger - duties include, but are not limited to:·Working with customers concerning all aspects of credit control, including both cash collection to deadline and timely dealing with queries.·Cash posting and allocation.·Resolving of invoice and account queries from both customers and the wider business.·Handling debit note returns, credit notes and journals.·Opening new accounts, performing credit searches and due diligence as appropriate.·Statement reconciliations.·Support in constant review, challenge and improvement of credit control processes and systems.·Banking and cash management.·Ad-hoc accounts analysis.·Supporting the overall finance function as a business partner of the wider business.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Credit Control and will be ready to come in and hit the ground running. You will have excellent communication skills, and will be extremely confident on the phone, dealing with customer queries.
