The SF Group is recruiting for a blue chip business based in Nottingham

Sales Ledger/Accounts Clerk - Permanent - up to £16.5k + excellent benefits package depending on experience. AAT study support is available for this position.

My client is a market leader in their field and boast a strong turnover coupled with a forward thinking management team. The offices are open plan, super modern and professional, plus there is on site parking and easy access from a local bus route. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to get a foot in the door.

Key Tasks

Your main duties will include allocating high volumes of incoming payments to the ledger via various methods to the relevant accounts
You will also ensure customer accounts are set up and credit checks are processed
You will be resolving any related queries via liaison with internal staff and customers
You will raise credit notes and produce copy invoices

Ideally you will possess experience within a similar role, in particular you should have cash allocation experience, however if you have other more general accounts experience as well as strong administrative experience and this sounds of interest please get in touch. Our client is keen to have someone join as soon as possible.

You will need to have accurate and fast data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, strong numerical ability and experience of working within a high volume processing environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be a self starter. Our client is based in Nottinghamshire, their location would suit candidates who live in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire.
