Although the undergraduate’s role is not customer facing, Operational Excellence sits within Customer Operations. This department brings together the customer facing teams with a common aim of improving performance, delivery and increasing collaboration across the following areas: Operational Excellence, New Business, Retail Customer Services and Collections Operations.

The key purpose of the role is to support the delivery of Management Information across the Customer Operations department, providing reporting and analysis which adds value, is easy to interpret, and articulates a clear story which drives/informs leadership action.

The role holder will be responsible for specific day-by-day delivery of Customer Operations Management Information reporting outputs and contribute to the development of the depth, quality and efficiency of reporting for the department.

About the role

  • Develop sound working relationships cross functionally and companywide to improve and then maintain data quality across Customer Operations and the wider business.
  • Active involvement in all relevant projects understanding the impacts on reporting requirements to include requirement gathering, testing and implementation.
  • Proactively develop and continuously improve outputs to anticipate the future needs of Customer Operations stakeholders. Identify the right input sources and take ownership to deliver timely solutions and outputs which add value meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in multiple systems in order to extract, combine and analyse relevant data.
  • Where appropriate, provide challenge and offer alternative solutions to stakeholders to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Ensure all relevant procedures give optimum effectiveness for all reporting related activity.
  • About you

    • Studying towards a Business related degree.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Aptitude for analysis and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage stakeholders at varying levels and operating within/delivering through cross-functional teams.
    • Advanced PC literacy: Microsoft Office skills especially Excel for reporting requirements and knowledge/experience of other system based analytical software.
    • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
    • Strong self and time management skills.
