Full time ambitious Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join a fantastic independent award winning skincare brand.

The ideal candidate will be an Undergraduate: degree or equivalent, preferably in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing.

The role is based at the company's HQ in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and you will be working closely with their team alongside the co-founder.

You will need a sense of humour, a can do attitude and the ability and willingness to attack any and all challenges – mostly related to marketing.

Essential Skills

  • Attention to detail
  • Minimum one year’s digital marketing experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Sound knowledge of marketing and PR principles
  • A dynamic and confident self-starter with strong relationship building skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A problem solver, tenacious, highly organized and sharp attention to detail
  • A highly polished and professional approach
  • Advanced level Microsoft Office
  • Experience of Microsoft Outlook and Internet
  • Passion for skincare and beauty

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Premium brand beauty experience
  • Knowledge of one or more European languages

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate, monitor and develop all social media accounts to develop traffic, engagement and conversion
  • You will be fully involved in all aspects of new product campaigns, building our digital presence and maintaining a consistent brand message.
  • Work with the business owner to produce customer newsletters, blog posts and other web content that amplifies the brand message, drive sales and awareness
  • Help cultivate and maintain relationships with in-store PR teams and our external PR agency
  • Work with the team, as well as external partners, to deliver bespoke, cohesive marketing campaigns for new product launches
  • Supporting the sales and marketing team you will establish and regulate processes in events, PR, company collateral, advertising and visual merchandising
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners
  • Monitor store/partner websites to ensure brand standards and information are maintained and appropriate brand exposure is achieved
  • Assisting in event planning and production
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of events and promotional activity
  • Carrying out specific projects and research
