About the role…

Become a Credit Control Supervisor at our contact centre in South Manchester and you’ll be responsible for managing our team who are collecting outstanding balances and direct debits from our business customers, including assisting them when they are faced with financial difficulties, ensuring a first time resolution wherever possible.

As an ideal candidate for this role, you should be an experienced Credit Controller with a proven track record of working within a similar, large and fast paced environment.

Furthermore, you should have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities effectively, whilst delivering high levels of accuracy consistently.

Responsibilities…

- Managing a team that has responsibility for the collection of debt across a multitude of customers across different revenue streams with a variety of payment terms
- Management of assigned customers ensuring all invoices are paid in accordance with group payment terms and continually monitor overdue debt with individual debtors to ensure exposure is minimized.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting in line with month end deadlines.
- Informing the Department Manager immediately of all important developments or problems and reporting on status of customer accounts on a regular basis.
- Ensuring all relevant KPIs are maintained and monitored, taking the appropriate action as required.
- Using knowledge gained from training, clarify and understand the customers’ requirements.
- Demonstrate patience in all customer contact situations utilizing your problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Supporting your team with issues from work queries to HR.
