Type: 6 month contract, full time

The Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for one of our client's largest customers. The primary objective of this role is to manage the high volume of transactions on the account, made up of invoices, credit notes and deductions (queries). Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Credit Control Administration

*Ensure customer all customer queries are logged, investigated and resolved accurately and timely.
*Develop contacts within client and customer organisation to facilitate business objectives; these contacts can include Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Warehouse/Receiving Management.
*Escalate and chase distribution, marketing, and pricing issues to appropriate areas for resolution.
*Assist in monthly and other assigned reporting and provide monthly reconciliations.
* Be aware of Sony DADC's goals and expectations; tailor output to match these goals.
*Assist team members in achieving all assigned objectives.
*Invoice/Credit Note print run and mail out including monthly customer statements
*Organise client meetings & associated facilities for the meeting
*Reconcile B2C payment receipts from credit card providers, prepare refunds where necessary
*Assist Credit Control and Query team as required

Person Specification (skills, knowledge and experience required)
Experience, Skills & Aptitude:

*Credit Control experience
*Data input experience
*Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a business
*Persistence to see a problem through against tight deadlines
*Experience of major UK retailers
*Understanding of Debit Notes
*Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup
*Competent with IT systems, particularly SAP, Excel, Word and Powerpoint Strong analytical skills
*Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
*Take ownership for responsibilities, including actions and outcome. Holding themselves accountable for results
*Pro active, with a can do attitude
*Ability to work independently, self motivated, target focused and reliable.
*Ability to work under pressure
*Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
*Ability to be flexible and adaptable
