Job Description

This is a superb opportunity for enthusiastic and driven candidate ideally with call handling or office experience to join their busy & bubbly team. This is no way a cold calling' role. You will receive a database of customers who have previously looked into home insurance products for a quote, possibly on a comparison website. Your role will be to follow these warm leads up and discuss what insurance you can offer them. This is a role with a guaranteed salary no matter how many sales are made; the opportunity to earn commission is on top of this.

Your duties will include:

New Customers

·The role is office based and enquiries are received by phone. These will include all types of insurance, including motor and home.
·You will establish the needs of the customer by questioning based on experience and knowledge, which will assist in recommending particular insurer's products.
·A computer system is used to provide Home and Motor quotations. Details of quotations provided are retained on the computer system. The jobholder will update client records as needed.
·Quotations are normally provided based on the answers verbally elicited from customers.

Existing Clients/Renewals

·You will transfer any queries attaching to existing clients and mid-term adjustments to the relevant department.
·For existing clients, records of telephone conversations and transactions are maintained on the computer system.

The Successful Applicant:

Home insurance experience would be fantastic. However, they would be happy with someone who is committed and enthusiastic for the role.

Preferably from an Admin/sales background who has previously worked in a busy/lively office.

·Enthusiastic, positive approach and attitude
·Previous customer service experience
·Confident telephone manner
·Excellent written and spoken English
·Competent computer abilities

What's on Offer?

Competitive base salary of £17,000, coupled with an excellent benefits package and an OTE of between 22-23k

The shifts are:

Early week - Monday to Friday - 9 till 5 - no Saturday.
Late week - Monday to Friday - 12 till 8 - Saturday 9 - 5.
