A well known, reputable, commercial retail business based in Liverpool, this company has just started the next phase growth and is looking to bring in a newly qualified Management Accountant to grow and develop with the business in a role where the sky will be the limit!

Job Description

Reporting in to the Group Finance Director you will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts, along with the involvement in commercial finance aspects of the business from cash flow reporting, sales analysis and project forecasts. A clear and tangible career path is on offer for the right candidate in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and presentation to senior management
  • Sales pricing analysis
  • Transactional duties
  • Variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reporting
  • Cash flow management and analysis
  • Assistance with preparation of business budget and forecasts
  • Business partnering with stakeholders across the business
  • 1 direct report (junior accounts)
  • Ad hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

A qualified CIMA or ACA/ACCA Accountant looking for their next step. Commercial awareness and a first class communicator as this role will be involved in business partnering and challenging individuals around the business.

What's on Offer

Base salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package
