Due to substanial growth my client seeks a qualified accountant who has key Experience in all aspects of the finance function including;

Design and implementing new processes and improvements

Experience of Statutory Accounts Liabilities

Management of small teams

- Acquisition accounting for all newly acquired entities including designing and implementing a more streamlined process
- Reconciliation of amounts owed to vendors post completion
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Ensuring all transactions are correctly and accurately analysed between pre and post acquisition
- Ensuring all pre acquisition statutory liabilities are monitored and settled as approriate
- Various ad hoc projects for the Finance Team
- Liaising with new branch staff and helping them transition to group procedures
- Managing 2 direct reports

Ideally you will possess the following skills;

- Qualified accountant with 2 years PQE ideally in a SME accountancy practice
- ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Exposure to an acquisitive/bookkeeping background would be advantageous
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members at every level throughout the organisation
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Good attention to detail and well-organised
- Ability to multi-task and see each task through to the end
