S3 Science is pleased to be recruiting enthusiastic individuals for a rewarding role working within the scientific community. We are currently seeking an Aquatic Research Technician to work in the aquatic unit.

This is a temporary contract for 3 month and you will be working onsite at our client's premises alongside a team of likeminded individuals looking after laboratory animals.

The desired candidate should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, possess the ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated with a flexible approach. Candidates should have experience caring for animals within a structured laboratory environment.


Responsibilities will include
Maintenance and husbandry of laboratory Aquatic animals.
Animal health checks.
Handling and moving animals.
Performing procedures.
Monitoring the condition of animals.
Keeping full and accurate records in accordance with Home Office regulations (includes stock and breeding records and environmental records).


Qualifications and Skills Required:
Animal related qualification.
Experience working with Laboratory animals.
