3aaa, a Grade 1 Outstanding Ofsted awarded training provider of Apprenticeships has grown significantly over the past year and has ambitious plans for further growth in the next two years.

The requirement to drive quality across the company has created a demand for a Regional Internal Quality Assurer to work actively with the Sector Lead Quality Assurer and Quality Managers together with the other IQA’s to deliver innovative and an exciting Quality Assurance strategy for all apprentices and staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience assessing in either IT or Digital Marketing or both.

Key duties includes, not limited to:

  • Create, develop and maintain a sample planner for your Trainers / Assessors in line with the Company’s sampling strategy
  • Ensure all planned samples are carried out in a timely manner
  • Conduct Assessor observations, support visits and risk banding as per sampling strategy
  • Provide robust oral and written feedback to Assessors that leads to timely portfolio completions (Success rates)
  • Conduct Observations of Teaching Learning and Assessment on Assessors as per the OTLA strategy
  • Develop Assessors to excel in their operational activity
  • Ensure the IQA practice meets Awarding Body expectations
  • Facilitate standardisation meetings as per Company Annual Quality Planner
  • Support the region (and therefore Company) to deliver on agreed performance targets
  • Champion and train the use of the eTrack system in the field
  • Ensure the eTrack system is fully utilised to manage and monitor learner progress
  • Essential

  • IQA qualified
  • Teaching qualification (i.e. L3 Education & Training or equivalent)
  • Formal industry qualification/s in the relevant sector
  • Proven track record of raising the standards of delivery and developing staff
  • Able and willing to travel over a wide area
  • Desirable

  • Experience in the delivery of work based apprenticeships
  • Knowledge of SFA funding
  • Led/involvement in successful EQA visits
  • Experience of using E-portfolio (preferably Maytas/eTrack)

  • There is a requirement to pass an Enhanced DBS check. This will be paid for by 3aaa.

    You will need a driving licence and own vehicle for the nature of this role.
