About the role

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our dedicated team of Finance professionals at our stunning head office in Ringwood

As a growing company Finance is recognised as a vital element in our plans. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective financial information for the Churchill Retirement PLC group.

It will be your role to maintain key relationships at senior and board level across the business in respect of management reporting to identify their requirements and aid better decision making. You will liaise with external auditors and tax advisors regarding all accounting and tax compliance preparing statutory financial information and corporation tax computation ensuring we are compliant with UK GAAP and IFRS regulations at all times.

Producing the annual consolidated budgets and monthly management accounts and forecasts throughout the year are all part of the role, along with recommending, implementing and monitoring effective internal controls to ensure the proper control and recording of financial information throughout the Group.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm & Fridays 9am to 5pm.

About you

You will have qualified in a recognised qualification such as ACCA or ACA. You’ll have previous experience in preparing consolidated management and statutory accounts and corporation tax computations and be up to date with accounting regulations including IFRS/FRS 102.

Your excellent communication skills will give you the ability to explain financial information to non financial employees paired with your methodical and logical way of working, you’ll continuously sharing best practice whilst evolving and developing in your own abilities.
