What’s the opportunity?

We are seeking a Senior Stores Controller to work as part of our Operations Team.

What will you be doing?
  • Co-ordination of LogisticsManufacturing Controllers employed in the delivery of detailed parts and assemblies, in line with the Manufacturing Master Schedule
  • Manage and schedule all work through the Manufacturing Stores
  • Manage the efficient use of storage space and promote good housekeeping
  • Ensure topicality of inventory holdings
  • Identify and implement process improvement for the Business
  • Assessment of task directives, and their effect on inventory and resource
  • Proactive involvement in the leadership, development and motivation of deployed staff to ensure they are aware of and capable of delivering their accountabilities
  • Development and maintenance of Business Processes, SAP and the supporting documentation.
  • Creation of documented requirements from Business demands
  • Ensure individuals have the correct level of access to ERP systems to enable them to discharge their responsibilities within the organisation.
  • Promotion of functional excellence and best practice
  • Maintenance of Business Process

Who and what we are looking for from you?
  • Detailed knowledge of Logistics management and processes and ERP with substantial Manufacturing Logistics experience
  • Ability to adapt style of communication to ensure effective delivery at all levels within the organization
  • Experience in training delivery to all levels within the organisation
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and people management
  • Good Planning and Organising skills to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to deliver set objectives.
  • Broad knowledge Manufacturing processes Having the strength of character, not to deviate from the process when pressurised by the Project
