Salary to £55,000 (with management responsibilities) or to £43,000 (without)
An opportunity to join the UK's leading provider of innovative claims solutions to insurers. This is a home/field based role and you will become a key member of a team covering the South East of England.
Depending on your experience and preference this opportunity can incorporate team management responsibilities, if this is something that appeals to you.
As well as experienced subsidence loss adjusters our client will also consider applications from subsidence surveyors within a claims business who are looking to expand their experience whilst using their technical expertise.
Duties and responsibilities:
üPro-active management, investigation and adjustment of property damage claims arising from tree roots liabilities.
üFurthering relationships with key clients
üMaintaining a high service level and quality control culture, ensuring compliance with client SLA's
üInvestigate allocated claims thoroughly, establishing how and why events occurred and the legal liabilities which may arise
üObtain all necessary evidence and relevant documentation.
üMaintain a full knowledge of client requirements by referral to documented procedures and adhere to them at all times
üDetermine appropriate action for resolution of the case.
üCorrespond with all parties to the case quickly and professionally
üMaintain a proper reserve at all times and review reserves regularly
üNegotiate settlement where appropriate, in accordance with authority limits.
üEnsure that costs are kept to a minimum.
üFrom time to time you may be allocated the role of client liaison/account manager for designated Insurers/Policyholders.
üLead a team of specialists, allocate and review work, provide training and support, motivate and encourage. (If appropriate to your experience & aspirations).
Skills & Experience
·High technical expertise in relevant areas of TPL property damage.
·Experience of investigation & handling of tree roots liability claims.
·Professionally qualified surveyor (preferred)
·People management skills
·Rigorous quality standards
·Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
·Ability to consistently achieve performance deadlines

·Strong relationship management - external and internal clients
·Effective communication - oral and written
