Our client is looking for a legal secretary to work as a float across their offices based in Bedford, Milton Keynes and Cambridge.
This would include residential and commercial property, private client (wills and probate), family, litigation, and company commercial.

Person specification

A competent, organised and reliable person who will help to maximise the profile and profitability of the firm to the best of their ability.

A degree of flexibility is necessary with this position.

Skills required.

Good audio/copy typing skills
Good communication skills
Good organisation and administration skills
Ability to prioritise
Able to work well within a team environment.

Main duties

To provide secretarial support fee earners including

• Typing all correspondence to include forms, court documents and firm precedents.
• Filing
• Making appointments
• Payments in and out of cheques
• Dealing with client enquiries
• Dealing with e mail and any other correspondence.
• Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
• To cover switchboard when needed.
