My client, a fast growing Fintech business in London is looking for a Platform Developer (IIS, C#, Java, Agile). Working as part of a dynamic and fast growing development team, the Platform Developer will undertake a wide-variety of development activity extending, improving and maintaining my client's platform which supports a broad set of products, to deliver quality solutions to our clients. Working on an individual basis or as part of a team, and with varying levels of supervision, according to size and complexity of the project, the Platform Developer will work to ensure successful delivery of projects, and will be responsible for completing assigned work within an agreed schedule, adhering to quality standards, while upholding Merit development processes and practices. We are seeking a Platform Developer with experience in the following: Skills/Technologies IIS C# MVC WebAPI AD/SSO Oracle/SQL server JavascriptThis role will be responsible for analysis, build, maintenance, documentation and support in the following areas: Interpret client requirements that are expressed to differing levels of detail and format. Design solutions, or work from the designs of others within the development team, emphasis on reuse/extension of existing/standard components Define and document test cases for automatic regression Extend interfaces between the internal and external/customer systems, extending the platform ETL utilities as required. Define and maintain data structures in order to model often complex transactional and reference data relationships. Build & maintain platform reporting capabilities. Implement Role based user entitlements using standard technologies such as AD, siteminder as well as linking to customer specific authentication technologies. Build and modify UI elements for web. Package Delivery, remote installation capabilities. Provide remote assistance and support to client integration testing, user acceptance testing, and go live. Contribute content, and share group review responsibility, to create or refine internal documentation, standards, or development practice. Desirable Skills & Experience Experience of working in financial sector Exposure to Agile development methods such as Scrum, Kanban At least 1 year working experience - provided by Dice AGILE, C#, ETL, IIS, JAVA, SCRUM, SQL, SQL SERVER
