IFA Administrator, trainee paraplanner
My client is a reputable IFA firm with a rapidly growing wealth management arm. Due to expansion and increasing incoming business a rare job vacancy is available for a driven administrator to train and develop and start a successful career with them in their prestigious Glasgow office. In the job, you will be working alongside some of the most highly skilled IFAs, paraplanners and administrators to provide primarily first class service to their clients. You will be the initial contact once you are up to speed. They work on their reputation, consistently gaining referrals so this is imperative. Key duties include Client management (pensions, investments and IHT), Preparation of files and documentation ahead of client meetings. You will assist in initial report writing, analysis and paperwork review and process new business applications alongside the paraplanners. The ideal candidate will currently be working within another IFA as an administrator and looking to progress into paraplanning and train. However a skilled and committed financial services individual who has undertaken financial exams would be considered as long as had softer skills. Knowledge and experience of adviser office and being up to speed with legislation and compliance requirements would be highly sought after by them.
