Our client are a forward thinking Housing Association and are currently one of the biggest Housing Associations in the UK.

Description

Head of Strategic Compliance

This is a brand new role to lead the development and delivery of the strategic approach to effectively manage the statutory obligations and regulatory undertaking that will reduce the risk to customers. This role will be responsible for the Landlord Compliance function ensuring the delivery of a first class quality and value for money service.

The responsibilities are varied and please see below a non-exhaustive list;

- The post holder will hold full strategic responsibility for ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

- Maintain comprehensive, up to date information on all Landlord compliance. Ensure suitable data systems and data management to record all testing, inspection and remedial works.

- Translate strategy, policy and procedures into objectives, KPIs, management information, with clear mechanisms in place reporting to the Board.

- Ensure suitable arrangements are in place for external assurance and validation required to provide confidence that robust and resilient compliance arrangements are in place.

Profile

Head of Strategic Compliance

The successful candidate will have the following expertise;

- A demonstrable commitment to deliver exceptional customer service

- Specific in-depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements in relation to Compliance

- Track record of managing Housing compliance across a diverse portfolio delivering high levels of performance.

- Experience of managing and leading a high performance team operating at a similar level .

- Experience of validating systems and services through demonstrating process assurance.

- Understanding and qualifications within Asbestos, Gas safety, fire safety, water safety, lift management and fixed electrical equipment.

- Experience of Property and Housing

- Based in Liverpool
