Graduate Structural Engineer



Salary up to £27,000 + Benefits + Bonus

A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for a Graduate Structural Engineer to become a leading part of a highly respected, independent engineering consultancy at their office based in Manchester. Our client specialises in the high quality delivery of a wide range of projects to be delivered across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors amongst others and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to the team to play a leading part in the delivery of a number of upcoming projects. Our client boasts and impressive portfolio with a number of exciting clients and are scheduled to begin the delivery of a number of exciting projects throughout 2018. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000 for this role, in addition to offering a wide range of exciting benefits.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:

  • Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess at least 2 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
  • Possess a good understanding of AutoCAD
  • Possess a good understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes

Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineer role include:

  • Play a leading part in the delivery of a range of building structures projects from inception to completion
  • Attend site projects and design meetings as required
  • Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
  • Liaise closely with valued clients and team members
  • Work directly alongside a number of experienced and Chartered engineers
  • Progress to more senior positions as you produce good work
