Support Analyst (Service Desk / Application Support)

A Support Analyst (Service Desk / Application Support) opportunity has opened within a software house in Epsom. This is a unique opportunity where no prior IT Support experience is needed as full training will be given to the successful candidate.

The Support Analyst (Service Desk / Application Support) will be working on a busy service desk where you will be providing 1st line application support to the company?s clients via telephone and email. You will be using your excellent customer service skills to understand the client?s issues and use your logical mindset to troubleshoot the issue through to resolution or escalation to another team.

The Support Analyst (Service Desk / Application Support) can expect to receive intensive IT training on the company?s software, prior to engaging with clients. As your knowledge progresses you?ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the role and over time, progress your career within support or another area of the business (Development, Infrastructure, Consultancy etc)

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • A background in a customer services role
  • A logical mind and ability to troubleshoot problems through to resolution
  • An interest in IT Support / Application Support
  • Clear communication skills (written and oral)

You?d get extra bonus points for an awareness of SQL but this is not essential.
