Our Client is a growing firm with offices in Northampton and London which was founded nearly 50 years ago.

It has grown significantly over the last few decades. They cover a wide range of Legal Disciplines and with their Conveyancing department growing rapidly, they require a number of new staff to assist with this expansion. In particular they are seeking a new Senior Conveyancing Solicitor / Manager to join, manage and develop their busy conveyancing department.

They pride themselves in providing a personal approach to their Clients, providing every client with a support team to facilitate their case as quickly and efficiently as possible. They aim to provide a more personalised, quality service than some of the mass volume Conveyancing Firms.

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced individual to handle a residential property caseload from instruction through to completion as well as develop / / mentor junior staff and building relationships with potential Clients and Business Partners.

Duties and responsibilities include: -

  • Receiving instructions and providing legal advice to clients on purchase, sales and re-mortgage matters
  • ID requirements, source of funds, gift deposits
  • Issuing contracts
  • Mortgage redemptions
  • Exchange of contracts
  • Ordering and reporting on searches
  • Checking and reporting of titles
  • Checking and reporting on mortgages
  • Registering land
  • Dealing with completion process
  • Scheduling and archiving
  • Managing, developing and mentoring more junior staff
  • Managing and developing relations with developers and site managers

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and motivated to support the firm?s expansion plans. You will be expected to be able to 'hit the ground running? and integrate quickly in a busy Conveyancing department. Experience checking and reporting on titles is essential. This role is for Qualified applicants such as Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Legal Executives. .
