Corporate Tax Supervisor/Assistant Manager
Change Public Practice are working with a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants to assist them in the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Supervisor / Assistant Manager for their office in the Southside of Edinburgh. This accountancy firm is currently going through a period of growth and are continuing to iexpand and so it is an exciting time to join the business. The team provides tax advisory and compliance services to corporate clients across various sectors. Responsibilities: · Preparation of corporation tax computations for larger more complex companies · To contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of tax service to clients · Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practice/business driven approach taken · Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service · Build relationships within the firm, identifying opportunities and managing expectations · Contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients · Responsible for day-to-day client liaison · Coach and develop junior team members and reviewing their work · Provide full tax services to a client portfolio together with other team members Requirements: · CA/ATT Part-Qualified or Qualified · Must have a minimum of 3 years’ Corporate Tax experience ideally within Public Practice · Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to manage client expectations · Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards · Client focused and commercially aware · Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically · Project management skills, ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines and monitor own budget · Ability to coach and develop more junior members of the team Benefits for you: In addition to the highly exciting scope of work involved in this role, this firm also offers a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
