The EBI programme has a broad scope addressing the areas of: Enterprise Information Management (EIM), Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI). The first of these is the core of data management from which the others build. Critical to this area is putting in place a comprehensive migration plan and supporting the delivery of various Business Analytical insight use cases. This role involves the project management of key pieces of work within the broader Programme to agreed business case outcomes. As a result this role will encompass: *Ensuring the delivery to the agreed scope, time, cost and quality required of the specific projects allocated for e.g. migration of legacy system MI reporting key work packages onto the new EBI ecosystem *Ensure clear, relevant communications to project team, EBI programme staff, business stakeholders, IT senior management and suppliers and the broader IT community. *Putting in place the operating and service level agreements with respect to transitioning the project to the support organisation Strategy Assist in the development of the EBI project strategy and architectures to support the business goals while also focusing on simplification, cost reduction, faster time to market, security control, data control & performance design Be aware of Allianz Group & IT industry strategy and standards. Exploit synergies and contribute to these where possible.. IT Communications Ensure clear, relevant communications to staff, business stakeholders, IT senior management and suppliers. Quality Assurance and Productivity Ensure adherence to Group architecture & design standard and frameworks. Focus on continuous improvement in all areas of development, design & maintenance in order to achieve improvements in project Cost, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Quality and Time to Market (TTM). * Leading the planning and mobilisation of the migration workstream * Managing and inputting to the process from requirements to technical specifications to delivery and support * Putting in place the operating and service level agreements with respect to each key project delivered * Ensuring the delivery to the agreed scope, time, cost and quality required * Ensure that the projects are aware of and adhere to the standards of management required by the programme. * Act as a focal point for the team in all issues relating to the specific project you are own * Act as a member of the EBI programme team to drive continuous improvement in the delivery of this critical business programme Skills & Experience Requires experience in:- * Project management of Enterprise Warehouse delivery (in excess of 1m+)* Experience of managing large scale Warehouse extract , transform and load from source system delivery projects* Familiarity with the IBM Information Server Services (data Stage, Quality stage etc) and Oracle Exadata technologies would be an advantage* Alignment of Group architecture & design standard and frameworks to project delivery area* Design authority engagement and managing risks, issues and changes* Project budget management * IT governance experience, including experience of relevant frameworks such as COBIT, Prince, Agile and ITIL* Project planning, risk and issue management, finance/budgets, change control Employees are key to the continued success of our business, as such you should expect to receive several benefits on top of your annual salary.
