Software Developer, 4.5 (C#, .NET), Manchester

My client, a digital marketing agency, who help their clients put their businesses on the map is looking to expand their .Net workforce. The Role:

The successful Software Developer (C#, .NET) performing this role, will join a team to grow web solutions for the benefit of public user satisfaction across many different industries. Within the team, you will be assigned different projects, depending on size and time-frame, some within a team and some individually. You will have a duty to complete your part of the project to the highest standard for high-end clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement web products
  • Source code/versioning management functions
  • Perform code peer reviews
  • Work seamlessly with not only your team but all teams, applications and customers
  • Have a thorough understanding of the objective and their standards
  • Ensure all timeframes, budgets, and standards for objective completion are kept to
  • Research and recommend appropriate application development best practices, and tools
  • Flexibility with travel requirements

Skills and Experience:

The perfect Software Developer (C#, .NET) will be flexible to work with a range of technology that will be most effective at achieving the end goal of the task at hand. Also, the candidate will be working with a small knit group, so integrating with the team quickly will be paramount to success.

Technical Stack:

Essential:

  • C#, .NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET/MVC
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS

Bonus;

  • Exposure or knowledge of DevOps practices (Not essential)
  • Umbraco knowledge
