SAP / ABAP Developer
Our client is looking for someone with strong SAP ABAP skills, assist in the definition of difficult technical requirements, and to design and build forms using SAPScript, Adobe forms, and SmartForms.
Your Responsibilities:
You'll understand each step of the end to end process, the roles and responsibilities of everyone in the process and the strengths and weaknesses/pain points - all whilst defining and delivering custom workflows and forms for SAP modules such as SAPScript, Adobe Forms, and SmartForms.
You'll have to distinguish between customer requests and the actual underlying business requirements and will quickly understand the business environment, whilst proactively assessing its strengths and weaknesses and you'll be able to recommend areas of improvement - such as S4/HANA Business Suite and UI5 for building web applications.
You'll be able to critically evaluate customer requests where these deviate from Best Practice / Template solutions and challenge the customer's requests without neglecting real opportunities to improve the template solution.
Knowledge and skills required:
Experienced ABAP developer for SAP ECC6 / EHP7
Effective consulting skills
Strong ABAP Workbench and ABAP Objects / Classes problem resolution skills
SAPUI5 / Fiori Development
Abobe Forms / SmartForms / SAP Workflow
Strong knowledge and demonstrable track of de-bugging ABAP
Demonstrable evidence of having operated as a SAP ABAP expert
Thorough understanding of SAP architecture
Functional Modules, Dialogue, and ALV programming
FI/CO, MM, PP, PM, QM
Ideal candidate must be a strong communicator and have excellent stakeholder management skills.
