The main technologies used include Cisco LAN / WAN product rangeincluding ISR and ASR platforms, Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASA, F5, andCheckpoint. What will you do? Have Technical responsibility / ownership of data communications projects. Provide solutions to meet business / project demands based oncorporate standards. Input and influence to ensure chosen solutions are technically andarchitecturally sound, meeting all documented requirements To assist in the planning, design, and implementation, of voice anddata projects. Provide SME input / support to the operations team. Provide technical support for projects as directed Assist with policy, procedure and standards documents based onindustry best practices and personal research and experience. Provide support for critical system changes outside of business hours. To ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulationsthat may govern the business and complete all regulatory knowledgetraining where applicable in a timely fashion. The successful candidate will have: Several years experience working with enterprise level network /telecom services. Experience of supporting global organizations. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical solutions Experience of successfully working with outsourced partners Able to operate with multi geographic teams and locations Experience with industry leading network and security productsincluding Cisco campus and datacentre product lines, Checkpoint, BIGIP. Required Skills and Knowledge: Experience in Cisco enterprise network design with CCNP / DP orequivalent experience. Detailed design and conceptual knowledge of the followingtechnologies/services: WAN, MPLS, VPN, TCP/IP, Internet, cloud basedservices, network services (DHCP, DNS), campus and datacentre LAN, QoS. Experience with the latest Cisco product portfolio for campus anddatacentre networks including ASR, ISR, Nexus 2k, 5k, 7k, 9k, campusswitch including 3750, 3850, 45xx, 65xx series platforms. Detailed conceptual knowledge of enterprise routing protocolsincluding BGP, OSPF. Technical documentation skills. Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project Ability to articulate technical options/issues/designs such thatmanagement can make informed decisions Ability to communicate quickly, clearly, concisely, appropriately,and intelligently; must foster open communication, speak with impact,listen to others, and write effectively. Possess critical thinking and analytical skills with an ability toevaluate complex problems and issues quickly and accurately in order torecommend or take the most appropriate course of action. Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others inteams and collaborative work situations.
