Senior Manager - Compliance Advisory - Job descriptionAre you a Senior Compliance Professional? Do you have Consumer CreditAct experience? This could be the role for you! What's the role? We are looking for a Senior Manager Compliance to join our IDO team,within this new role you'll as assist the AD, Risk & Compliance inmanaging and maintaining an effective process for the identification,analysis, dissemination of regulatory changes impacting the IDODivision. You'll play a key role in leading and providing an effective regulatorycompliance advisory service to the IDO Division and commercial solutionsto regulatory matters for all Business Units, including strategies forhandling regulatory changes and emerging regulatory risk. You'll act as lead compliance liaison on behalf of the Division withGroup Legal and Group Risk & Compliance. You'll also lead theprovision of compliance support and oversight on the implementation ofregulatory changes impacting the IDO Division. Along with designing and delivering compliance training in conjunctionwith Group Compliance, you'll help us to help embed a compliance-awareculture across the IDO Division. Providing assurance to the IDO Exec and Senior Management (ApprovedPersons/SMCR) that the Division meets its regulatory responsibilitiesunder the Financial Services & Markets Act and ancillaryRegulations, FCA Handbook and the requirements of other in-scoperegulators. What will it take? We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of workingwithin an FCA-regulated environment and knowledge of FSMA and FCAHandbook and understanding of the general insurance industry. You'll be experienced in compliance with the provisions of the ConsumerCredit Act, you'll also bring a thorough understanding of the regulatorychange process. Along with experience in an open and challenging business orprofessional environment, you'll have the skill in applying regulatoryknowledge to the achievement of business objectives. You'll also have atrack record of achievement and delivery and experience in identifyingand analysing regulatory risks. You'll have strong communication skills and ability to influence at allbusiness levels and demonstrable experience in maintaining strong,challenging and constructive working relationships with businessmanagers at senior and operational levels. You'll also bring previousline management experience.
