We want to solve problems for our customers and by bringing togethergreat minds, we can work together to make the world a safer place.DevOps/ Application Support Engineer - National Security - GloucesterThe DevOps team is responsible for supporting and maintaining a range ofdiverse and challenging systems. Every day will be different as you willbe expected to work on multiple systems, across varied technologiescompleting a wide range of tasks from implementing major change tofixing minor bugs.We are excited about emerging cloud technologies but also remain loyalto the more traditional approach so need you to have experience inJava/J2EE or C#/.NET. Experience with Oracle 11g and PL/SQL database isdesirable. Other technologies will also be relevant so if you have anyexposure to mongoDB, MySql, Javascript, Windows, Unix, AWS, Azure,Tomcat or Weblogic we would love to chat with you about your experiences.We need you to have strong interpersonal skills as you will work closelywith the customer and other team members to investigate, diagnose andresolve issues. You will need to demonstrate problem solving skills andan aptitude to learning new skills quickly. A background in ApplicationSupport or Software Development is essential as is the ability to takeownership of tasks and work in a busy and demanding environment.You will be naturally inquisitive, an ambassador for ContinuousImprovement and keen to make a difference within our ever expandingteam.
