Were looking for a Systems Project Manager, based in our Supply Chainand Logistics team in York, to support our supply chain systems andprocesses effectively across Nestle UK and affiliates. What can you expect? As Systems Project Manager, your primary focus will be to develop andsupport Atlas, our in house developed Transport Management System andhow it interfaces with other related system like warehouse managementsystems and e-commerce. Reporting to the Head of Materials Handling, you will be responsiblefor scoping requests from users for new functionality, undertakinganalysis, developing code which meets the requirements, testing andimplementation. You will also be required to leading the systems streamsfor relevant projects. You will use project management tools to managethese changes. You will manage interaction and integration with other project andsupport teams and provide ad-hoc reporting when needed. In addition to the above as part of a team of five you will beresponsible for first line day to day support of local systems whichsupport the transport team, the distribution centres. It is arequirement that you can provide out of hours support for localLogistics systems (1 week in every 4 which will be compensated). Who are we looking for? To be considered for this opportunity, were looking for ComputerProgrammers with excellent communication skills and the followingexperience: Ideally of Graduate calibre (or equivalent) in Computer Science youwill have strong knowledge in computer programming particularly SQL, C#and/or VB.NET. Experience of leading projects across cross-functional teams Web development knowledge and experience with Oracle An understanding of warehouse and distribution procedures in acorporate environment will be a bonus.
