Legal Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SOLAS-qualified Legal Accounts Assistant with experience in a solicitor’s cashroom and an understanding of the application of the Society’s Accounts Rules. The Interventions team acts to safeguard clients and the Profession in certain cases where solicitor firms cease to practise. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of Judicial Factory and Interventions work within Court and team deadlines. In addition to being SOLAS-qualified, experience of Trust & Executry accounting would be advantageous. To deliver this role successfully, the candidate should be well organised and have good communication skills both on the telephone and in writing. The candidate must demonstrate a flexible approach to changing priorities; team player; and an ability to manage own workload. The post involves some unsociable hours and occasional overnight stays.
