Hours: 35 per week, between the hours of 7.00am9.30pm This will be on a rotating shift pattern (Shifts will be 7am2.30pm and 2pm9.30pm)


Location: Bootle


Contract Duration: 6month fixed term contract Start ASAP


Salary: £16,000 per annum dependent on experience + Excellent benefits


Position

This role will involve in the daily reconciliation, control and investigating exceptions for the Cheque payment stream. My client is seeking an Administrator to work within the Cheque Processing department.

You will be expected to provide an excellent standard of service to customers by administering and or processing transactions / tasks in accordance with procedures, standards and controls.


Example of Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit accounting journal entries
Perform reconciliation and clearance activities across a range of accounts
Identify and investigate unreconciled items
To ensure that records are accurately updated for all transactions to meet Company requirements
Be proactive in identifying ways to improve processes
To support agreed team targets by covering any gaps in delivery across teams in the best interest of the department and process effectiveness

Essential Skills/Background

Previous experience in accounts administration/ bookkeeping is highly desirable
Excellent written and oral communications skills including report writing skills
High level of PC skills, especially MS Excel
Proven ability to communicate well both by speaking to people face to face or on the telephone and in written form
Good written and oral language skills in order to articulate technical issues associated to work area.
Strong PC skills, particularly MS Office
Full training will be provided so prior experience in this area is not necessary
