Position: Assistant Sales Ledger and Administrator PID Systems are a small, dynamic equipment rental company based in Prestwick seeking an Assistant Sales Ledger and Administrator. Candidates must have experience of working within a successful expanding business and be prepared for a busy, fast paced role that is key to the company’s continuing success. This role will be Monday to Friday and have the core working hours of 8.30 - 5, however these are negotiable for the right candidate. The role will be supporting the Senior Bookkeeper and Sales team assisting with the smooth running of the day to day financial aspects of the business. Full time Duties will include; - Invoicing on Sage, accounts received, general ledger, debtors, etc. - support the sales team with proposal preparation. - liaising with operations department regarding sales proposals. - assisting with customer orders from initial quote to invoicing and follow up admin - general administrative and office duties - reporting to Senior Bookkeeper - processing mileage claims and expenses. Essential Skills: - demonstrated experience in SAGE accounting and good knowledge of MS Excel and Word - strong competency in sales ledger - accurate and meticulous handling of information - experience dealing with a busy and varied workload - excellent communication skills - experience in small business practices and operation
