We are currently looking to hire a Project Engineer for our customerwho are a Central London based Managed Service Provider, all of theircustomers are based in London Zone 1 so travel will be limited. This isa company who are going through a large period of growth and customeracquisition need additional help to run project work for thesecustomers. As a Project Engineer you will be required to autonomously run projectsout on customer sites, from client initiation, some pre-sales work,scoping out of the projects all the way through to implementation andhandover to the Service Desk for ongoing support. No two days will bethe same as the work is varied and challenging due to the technicalchallenges and also the variety of customers. From a technical perspective you will be well versed in Citrix usingXenApp and XenDesktop, also being able to build virtualised machinesusing either Hyper V or VMware as well as solid grounding in knowledgearound Windows Server and Exchange. Your experience in project workshould include things like upgrades, implementations, offices moves, orcloud migrations. These projects can either be internally or externally,either way you must be comfortable in a client facing environments.
