My client is a global leader in the retail sector with offices all over the world and their HQ in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth and internal investment my client is looking for a Finance PM to lead the end to end delivery of all financial software projects.

Working from their Bicester office, this role will be responsible for the delivery of finance related projects into the business, ensuring that the most effective, timely and appropriate IT Finance solutions are developed (utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality) to fulfil the business requirements and enable benefits realisation.

The chosen candidate will manage high profile and technically complex projects ensuring adherence with industry best practice and methodologies and be tasked with their delivery on time, to budget, and with the anticipated level of IT and Finance benefit.

You will ensure a high level of structure in the projects, with appropriate governance and adherence to formal frameworks and act as the SME in this area, supporting the IT Team with queries or any required training to ensure standards are understood, followed and quality is consistently high.

With regards to the software itself this role will be leading the delivery of all current and future technology projects so a strong understanding of financial implementations is key rather than expert knowledge of one product. Having said that exposure to Oracle R11i/12 and Oracle Fusion would be a distinct advantage as would Oracle Cloud projects and business analytics software SalesForce & PowerBI.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a long career history in financial project delivery and any background in Finance/Accounting would certainly help. In addition working in a full end to end role implementation role will be beneficial, as would exposure to managing third parties and suppliers/vendors.
